Rolls-Royce Holdings is reportedly planning to cut about 2,500 jobs globally, a move aimed at reducing costs. The cuts are expected to impact hundreds of staff in the UK.
Rolls-Royce Holdings, a prominent engine maker, is set to reduce its workforce by around 2,500 employees as part of a cost-cutting initiative led by its new CEO. The job cuts will affect various global operations of the company, and a significant number of employees in the UK are likely to be impacted.
The blue-chip company has seen a notable recovery under its new CEO, Tufan Erginbilgic, who took the helm last January. He emphasized the tight management of the firm’s cost base to counter inflationary cost pressures.
In May, Rolls-Royce stated that no decisions had been made regarding workforce changes, responding to reports that it was expected to cut approximately 3,000 non-manufacturing staff.
