The MotoGP Bharat 2023 is upon us, and the Buddh International Circuit is ready to make history by hosting India’s first-ever MotoGP race. Although this iconic circuit has previously witnessed the thunder of Formula 1 cars, it has undergone substantial modifications to embrace the thrilling world of two-wheel racing.

Safety Takes the Front Seat

To prepare for MotoGP’s intense action, safety has been significantly upgraded at the Buddh International Circuit. The modifications include the expansion of gravel traps around the track, providing a safer landing for riders if they venture off-course. Air fences and foam barriers have also been meticulously installed to ensure the riders’ safety, underscoring MotoGP’s commitment to the well-being of its athletes.

Track Tweaks for Thrills

While the Formula 1 layout featured 16 turns, the MotoGP version will offer 13 exhilarating twists and turns. The circuit boasts one of the longest straights on the calendar, setting the stage for breathtaking speeds that could reach a staggering 370 km/h. These adjustments are certain to provide MotoGP enthusiasts with a unique and unforgettable racing experience.
