NASA’s astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, aboard the International Space Station, recently captured a breathtaking view of the 2023 annular solar eclipse. This incredible visual was documented from a vantage point approximately 260 miles (418 km) above the Earth’s surface. The crew aboard the space station enjoys remarkable perspectives of our planet and celestial phenomena as they traverse the solar system.

In this remarkable image, the top left portion of the Sun is partially obscured by the Moon against the backdrop of the dark expanse of space. The Sun is depicted as a substantial white orb, marked with a few small spots on its surface.
