Late Friday morning, three teenagers in Chicago’s North Side were victims of a shooting incident. Two 18-year-old men and a 16-year-old boy were in a parked car in the 4400 block of North Sheridan Road around 10:30 a.m. when another vehicle, carrying unknown offenders, approached them.
One of the 18-year-olds sustained a gunshot wound to the foot. The other 18-year-old had a graze wound on his head, while the 16-year-old was shot in both thighs. The victims managed to self-transport to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where their conditions have been stabilized.
The offenders fled the scene in an unknown direction. As of now, no one is in custody, and the investigation is being carried out by Area 3 detectives.
