RapidX Metro in Ghaziabad to Be Inaugurated by PM Modi on October 20

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate India’s first Rapid Rail in Ghaziabad on October 20. The 17-km priority corridor will connect Sahibabad and Duhai. The RapidX Metro is expected to reduce travel time between the two stations from over 35 minutes to around 12 minutes.

The RapidX Metro is a semi-high-speed regional rail system that is being developed by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC). The entire Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor is expected to be operational by 2025.
