Amid escalating tensions and attacks by the Palestinian organization Hamas, Israel has officially announced the launch of “Operation Iron Swords.” Israel’s declaration of a state of war comes in response to multiple infiltrations and missile attacks originating from the Gaza Strip. The Israel Defence Forces have confirmed the engagement of dozens of fighter jets in strikes against Hamas group sites within Gaza.
