In a tragic incident, a suicide blast near a mosque in Pakistan’s Balochistan province has left at least 15 people dead and more than 50 others injured. Among the casualties was Mastung’s Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Nawaz Gashkori, who was on duty for the rally.
The blast took place near Madina Mosque in the Mastung district of Balochistan, casting a pall over the festive occasion. According to City Station House Officer (SHO) Mohammad Javed Lehri, the explosion was a “suicide blast,” with the attacker detonating himself next to the DSP’s car.
