For many Indians working or living abroad, the prospect of long flights can be a time-consuming endeavor. However, a new development promises to change that for those residing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). An ambitious project is underway to create an underwater train connection between Mumbai and Dubai, offering a swift and exciting travel option.
The National Advisor Bureau Limited, a UAE-based company, is spearheading this visionary endeavor, aiming to foster greater connectivity and trade between India and the UAE.
Not only will this project facilitate the efficient transportation of crude oil from Dubai to India, but it will also offer an expedited mode of travel for citizens of both nations.
The Managing Director and Chief Consultant of the National Advisor Bureau Limited, Abdullah Alsehi, unveiled the concept of the underwater train project during the UAE-India Conclave.
The proposed train will span the distance between Mumbai and Dubai, offering a rail network of approximately 2,000 kilometers.
According to Alsehi, if this project receives the necessary approvals and support, travelers will soon be able to journey from Mumbai to Dubai in just 2 hours using an underwater bullet train.
This innovative initiative aligns with the aspirations of several countries, such as the United States, Australia, Russia, Japan, and China, which are considering underwater train projects to enhance trade and connectivity.
The potential for an underwater train connecting Mumbai and Dubai is a significant development in the realm of travel and trade.
While the project’s progress remains to be seen, the prospect of reaching Dubai from India in a mere 2 hours is an exciting prospect for many.
