The much-awaited film “Thangalaan,” featuring Vikram and directed by Pa Ranjith, has released its teaser, offering a tantalizing peek into an intriguing narrative. Set against the backdrop of the historic Kolar Gold Fields during British colonial rule in India, this period action flick promises a captivating story.
The teaser introduces us with the words, “As myth leads to history, as greed leads to destruction, as blood wars lead to liberty, rises the son of gold.” It hints at a tribal leader’s struggle to safeguard their land from gold miners and intriguingly, suggests the presence of fantasy elements in the storyline.
The cast of “Thangalaan” boasts stellar actors including Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, and more.
Directed by Pa Ranjith, produced by K E Gnanavelraja and co-produced by Neha Gnanavelraja, the film belongs to Studio Green and Neelam Productions. G V Prakash Kumar helms the music, with contributions from co-writer Tamil Praba. Azhagiya Periyavan handles the dialogues, A Kishor Kumar is the cinematographer, Selva R K manages the editing, and S S Murthi oversees art direction.
