On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Kangana Ranaut unveiled the teaser of her upcoming film “Tejas,” where she portrays the role of an Indian Air Force pilot. Directed by Sarvesh Mewara, the film is set to hit theaters on October 27, with the trailer scheduled for release on October 8, coinciding with Air Force Day.
The teaser introduces Kangana Ranaut as Tejas Gill, a fearless and patriotic pilot prepared to confront any challenge for her nation. It opens with a powerful voice-over stating, “Zarrori nahi hai har bar baatcheet hone chahiye, jung ke maidan mein ab jung hone chahiye. Hogaeya hai mere vatan pe ab bahut he sitam. Ab toh aakash se barish nahi aag barasni chahiye. Bharat ko chhedoge toh chhodenge nahi.” Translated, it means, “It is not necessary to engage in dialogue every time; there should be war in the battlefield. Bharat has endured too much cruelty. Now, instead of rain, there should be fire raining from the sky. If you provoke my Bharat, we will not let you go unpunished.”
Kangana Ranaut shared the teaser on Instagram with the caption, “Ready to take off for the love of our nation! Bharat ko chhedoge toh chhodenge nahi.” She also posted a poster featuring her sprinting alongside a fighter jet with an explosive blast in the background.
Produced by Ronnie Screwvala under RSVP Movies, “Tejas” aims to inspire and instill a profound sense of pride in every Indian by showcasing the dedication of our Air Force pilots in defending the nation, even in the face of numerous challenges.
