The much-anticipated film Salaar, starring Prabhas and directed by Prashanth Neel, has been a hot topic in the film industry due to its delayed release. Originally slated for September 28, the movie faced postponement for post-production work. However, recent rumors suggest that the film’s release will stay on track for 2023, with a formal announcement expected on September 28.

Speculation around the film’s release date and runtime sparked excitement. An overseas ticket booking portal, ‘Novo’ cinemas in the UAE, reportedly changed Salaar’s release date to November 2, 2023. The film is said to have a runtime of approximately 3 hours and will be released globally in five languages.

Additionally, the movie’s promotional activities are set to resume on September 28, with a significant announcement anticipated. Fans can look forward to an action-packed and emotionally charged trailer launching on October 23, just days before the film hits theaters.

Salaar’s plot, titled “Salaar Part 1: Cease Fire,” is described as a story set in a war-torn city, where Prabhas grapples with promises to his mother and loyalty to a friend. The film explores the power of relationships and the consequences of one’s actions through a violent and emotionally charged narrative.

Salaar features a stellar cast, including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Brahmaji, Saptagiri, Sriya Reddy, Jagapathi Babu, and more. The film will be released in two parts, with OTT rights for South Indian languages already sold to Netflix for a staggering sum of Rs 350 crore, making it one of the most highly anticipated films of 2023.
