The recent Dasara holiday season in the US witnessed a fierce battle among some of the biggest stars in the industry. As the dust settles, it’s time to deliver the final verdict on their box office performance.

Contents

Leo: A Roaring Success

“Leo” made quite an entrance, riding on the wave of anticipation surrounding its hero-director duo. Despite receiving a mixed response, the film managed to cross the $5 million mark, accumulating a total of $5,308,406. The audience’s interest was clearly piqued, and Director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s reputation played a pivotal role in its success.

Bhagavanth Kesari: A Decent Attempt

The unusual combination of Nandamuri Balakrishna and Anil Ravipudi created a buzz, raising expectations for “Bhagavanth Kesari.” While the film did manage to pull in a decent $1.2 million at the box office, it fell short of becoming a blockbuster. This can be attributed to Anil Ravipudi’s execution, which turned it into a “watch and forget” film rather than a memorable experience, despite receiving favorable reviews. A missed opportunity for sure.

Tiger Nageswara Rao: A Missed Mark

Ravi Teja’s hopes for a true story about an 80s thief were dashed as the film received poor reviews from the get-go. The initial negativity affected its box office performance, with the film earning only $366,000 so far. Unfortunately, “Tiger Nageswara Rao” joins the list of Ravi Teja’s recent disappointments.

In conclusion, Dasara brought both highs and lows at the US box office, with “Leo” emerging as the standout success, “Bhagavanth Kesari” falling just short of its potential, and “Tiger Nageswara Rao” struggling to find its footing.
