Shah Rukh Khan’s mega-blockbuster Jawan continues to go great guns at the box office, scoring an excellent second weekend globally. The action thriller movie remained the number 1 title at the domestic box office by a huge margin, while the overseas collection is also fantastic.
Jawan’s second weekend performance is simply seductive. The movie scored over 100 crores gross domestically, including an estimated 43 crores gross on the second Sunday. This takes the total domestic cume of the movie to around 573 crores gross in 11 days in all versions.
At the overseas box office, Jawan is estimated to score $7.50 million (62 crores), for approximately 165 crores global second weekend. The movie is expected to reach 860+ crores ($104 million) worldwide through the second Sunday (11 days).
This makes Shah Rukh Khan the only Indian actor or filmmaker to score two $100+ million grossers in a single year, after Pathaan crossing this milestone earlier this year.
Jawan is on course to become the highest-grossing Indian movie of the year, beating Pathaan’s current record of 1055+ crores worldwide. This will again make Shah Rukh Khan the only Indian person to score two 1000+ crores grosser movies in a single year.
