Born on May 11, 1992, Adah Sharma hails from a Tamil Brahmin family in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her father, S. L. Sharma, a native of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, served as a captain in the merchant navy, while her mother, originally from Palakkad, is a classical dancer.


Adah completed her schooling at Auxilium Convent High School in Pali Hill, Bandra, Mumbai. From a young age, she displayed a passion for gymnastics and dancing, starting her training in dance at the tender age of three. Adah further honed her skills in Kathak by pursuing graduation from the Natraj Gopi Krishna Kathak Dance Academy in Mumbai. In addition to Kathak, she also learned salsa during a four-month stint in the United States.

Adah Sharma’s journey in the world of films began with her breakthrough role in the Hindi horror film “1920” (2008).
